In less than 10 days the 7th Nikos Sarikavazis Trophy opens its sails.

At NCPF we are excited about this event, as it marks the biggest race we take on every year and we always strive to offer something new and improved to our services for athletes, coaches and parents.

With technological advances galloping, systems that previously only very large events could support, are starting to become more affordable.

In this year’s race we will introduce the Metasail Tracking System. An innovation for the current standars of races in Greece in terms of inter-club competitions, the first time that such an event will be supported by a tracking system.

GPS transmitters will be placed on the boats and via web, everyone will now be able to watch the race live from their mobile phone, tablet or computer.

Parents and friends will be able to see minute by minute the action and the progress of the race. Coaches will be able to extract statistics, to see if and where there is room for improvement.

Athletes will be able, even after the event, to relive their races and compare their tactics with other athletes.
